Bubba's Last Day?
Posted by: Mary Katharine Ham at 1:00 PM
Off message again:
Bill Clinton acknowledged Monday that today may be his last campaigning for his wife.

"I want to say also, that this may be the last day I'm ever involved in a campaign of this kind," the former president said at a town hall at the Milbank Visitor Center.

Clinton was talking about how his entire family was campaigning in South Dakota, and that he believed Hillary might surprise people in the primary Tuesday.

Or, is he actually on message? Feeling like a denouement at this point.

Election tools for your state
Dear Friend:

Are you ready yet for the November 4th Elections? How about your friends, family, and neighbors?
More Americans are expected to vote this year than ever before in history, so don’t be left out! Be sure to ask everyone you know the following questions:
• Are you registered to vote? If you moved recently, have you updated your voter registration?
• Did you apply for an Absentee Ballot? Do you know your state may not require any reason?
• Can you find your local Polling Place? Do you know it may have changed from last time?
The answers to these questions -- and all your voting needs -- can be found at http://www.StateDemocracy.org

The operative words...
there was "of this kind." Leaves a lot of doors open. Frankly I wish he would have just left it up to the women, Hillary and Chelsea. They would have done just dandy without him.

Bubba's Last Day!
"Bubba's Last Day" - now those could possibly be the three nicest words I have heard all day!

If he's taking tomorrow off...
I strongly suspect that sometime tomorrow, Barack Obama will announce he picked up another 50 or so superdelegates to give him the nomination. That's why the Dems felt safe enough to adopt the half-solution Saturday (and also why he threw TUCC under the bus).

Where has the time gone? It seems like only yesterday, you were leading the charge that ultimately became Operation Chaos.

Was Bill ever campaigning for his wife..
at least effectively campaigning?

Talking about leaving: Isn't your last day at Townhall coming up MKH? Are the Townhallies going to take you out for a going away lunch? Schedule it for late lunch so everyone will be inclined to call it day afterwards. Those are always fun. Pick a restaurant with great drinks too.
